Hello,
Today we had a Science test and we did another experiment. We tested to see if a paperclip could float on water and it can! We did another really cool experiment with baking soda and vinegar. We also had a lesson with Ms. Salerno about bullying. There was an SLC meeting during recess today for kids who want to be in Student Council.

Lots of students in our class attended the SLC (Student Leadership Council) meeting this afternoon-ask your child if they are interested in joining, and send in their signed paperwork if so.
our math test for Unit 3 will occur on Tuesday, October 21st. Please make sure that your child is completing their review homework.
We are now finished with our first Science unit, so on Monday we will be beginning Social Studies.
Our featured student work this week comes from: Charlene! Charlene got a 100% on her Unit 2 math test (which are returned today)--a perfect score! She worked very hard during our review session and it really paid off on her test! Keep up the great work, Charlene!
